That's pretty cool. Have to be careful to sandblast those barrels back to steel first though, as they may outgas nasty stuff if they're painted, or otherwise coated.

Yep, low tech is best.

I do wonder what a building or insurance inspector would say about this meeting code, but in SHTF, who cares?
